I checked the H-spec. It does use approach 3. I'm just trying
to learn stuff. I still have no specific plan for future yet.
4-year old should be new enough.
Could you please explain a bit more? Table lookup is good way.
E.g. 4-person party: with table lookup, you get 3 people's pcm
data, there are several issues:
1) we can't just add 3 values together, right? pcm
is kind of compression already.
2) what if there is overflow, i.e. data added together over 255?
(maybe log algorithm is used, so won't overflow easily.)
3) Wanderer mentioned echo. Do you think echo is a issue here?
I remembered analog phone has echo issue because of 2-4 wire thing.
For digital phone, still has to do echo-cancelation? (Might be
because of speaker.) H-spec didn't mention echo.
