Job Description
Title: QA Manager, Operation
Report Line: Quality Director
Direct Subordinate: 4
Indirect Subordinate: 5
This position is responsible for quality assurance on the scope of whole supply chain including in-house manufacturing, CM's and components. Also in charge of continuous quality improvement on local manufacturing and suppliers
Responsibility:
1. Set up the QA department objective and strategy to align with Quality group’s
2. Be responsible for stipulating QA operation policies to ensure that the manufacturing practices of in-house and CMs comply with GMPc, ISO and local regulations
3. Be responsible for QA management for in-house manufacturing including both Processing and Filling/Packing area, through leading in-process control, on-line inspection and finish goods testing. Leading quality continuous improvement. Make decisions on critical and major deviations and incidents.
4. Be responsible for QA management activities on all contract manufacturers (CM). Make sure the company quality policies and requirement are full understood by CMs, and performed accordingly well.
5. Be responsible for leading components daily inspection, and make final decision on release or reject for those abnormal components. Lead the technology discussion with suppliers.
6. Be responsible of supplier quality management and certification with Quality System, and gradually to realize JIT.
7. Be responsible for people development. Coach and motivate QA team members. Improve their professional skill. Review the performance of staff.
Requirement:
1. Education:
-Bachelor degree or above
2. Competencies:
- Management skill
- Communication skill
- Motivation
- Innovation
-Team work
3. Experience: at least 5 years QA management experience in Cosmetics, Drug or Food Company
4. Knowledge:
- Chemical, Biological, Pharmaceutical or relative major in university
- Rich experience on QA management
- Good understanding on GMP
- Good understanding on ISO9001
- Fluent spoken English
