In general, IT architects have a responsibility for ensuring the completeness (fitness-for-purpose) of the architecture, in terms of adequately addressing all the pertinent concerns of its stakeholders. Understand and interpret requirements - listen to information, influence people, facilitate consensus building, synthesize and translate ideas into actionable requirements, articulate those ideas to others.
The Infrastructure Architect participates in the discovery and documentation of the customer's business scenarios that are driving the solution. Ensures integrity of the architecture, in terms of connecting various views to each other, satisfactorily reconciling the conflicting concerns of different stakeholders, and showing the trade-offs made in so doing (as between security and performance, for example).
As a architect, you must have the ability to work in multi-functional teams in a global organization. You feel comfortable taking initiative and working independently and have good skills in documentation and leadership. Most important is that being professional in every aspect comes natural for you
Desired qualifications and skills:

2、BI Architect
1. Summary Role Description
Accountable for defining, developing, maintaining, and communicating all Domain Business Intelligence Architecture Components including Data Warehouse, Data Marts, Common Business Dimensions, Tool Standards, and developing policies and procedures for managing consumption and compliance to GM Business Intelligence Architectures. Works closely with Enterprise Information Architect, Enterprise Business Intelligence Architect, Systems Engineering Architects and Planners to ensure alignment with target (future-state) Business and Data Architecture goals of the enterprise.
2. Education
Bachelor’s Degree required.
3. Major Duties and Responsibilities
a. Accountable for developing, maintaining, and communicating the Domain Business Intelligence (BI) Capabilities as part of the Domain Data Capabilities Roadmap (including AS-IS and TO-BE Data BI Landscapes).
b. Accountable for defining, benchmarking, engineering, testing and implementation of Domain Business Intelligence Capabilities (e.g., Domain Level common business dimensions, Data Marts, Data Warehouses, Dashboards, Star Schemas, ETL Tools, etc.).
c. Accountable for defining, developing and Implementing Innovative solutions for Domain Performance Management.
d. Prescribes domain level Business Value driven BI architecture requirements to drive business innovation.
e. Develops, maintains, and communicates Domain BI Architectures.
f. Supports Development and maintains, communicates BI Processes, Enterprise BI Standards, best-practices, etc. and benchmarks with industry.
g. Responsible for identifying, selecting, and approving specific Domain level standards (e.g., Domain Level COTS BI Tools and applications).
h. Participates in Enterprise Data Stewardship Working Group, as required.
i. Communicates BI architectures to strategic planners and IT portfolio managers.
j. Accountable for requirements for Domain Level BI Architecture to integrate into the Cross-Domain BI Architecture.
k. Accountable for data quality and integration of all BI architecture components deemed to be enterprise or cross-domain in scope.
l. Uses the Enterprise Data Dictionary and Enterprise Master Data as constraints.
m. Accountable for working closely with the Global Integration Factory (GIF) Architect to drive standardization of Data Integration.
4. Qualifications
a. General Skills:
(i) Excellent verbal communication skills, including active listening skills, ability to illustrate abstract models using concrete examples, ability to facilitate discussion of diverse points of view while maintaining group focus on the subject at hand.
(ii) Excellent written communication skills, including application of standard English usage and grammar, ability to illustrate complex or abstract subjects using simple diagrams, ability to align content to the perspective of the intended audience. Well versed with MS-Office toolset (Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) as required for documenting and communicating data architecture requirements/deliverables.
(iii) Good leadership skills, including the ability to clearly articulate objectives and way forward, ability to lead through influence rather than control, ability to build consensus and solve problems.
(iv) Good relationship skills, including ability to mediate opposing viewpoints and negotiate equitable outcomes that ensure stable solutions.
b. Technical Skills:
(v) Demonstrated Skills in defining, developing, maintaining, and communicating the Business Intelligence (BI) Capabilities as part of the Data Capabilities Roadmap (including AS-IS and TO-BE Data BI Landscapes).
(vi) Demonstrated Skills in defining, benchmarking, engineering, testing and implementation of Business Intelligence Capabilities (e.g., common business dimensions, Data Marts, Data Warehouses, Dashboards, Star Schemas, ETL Tools, etc.).
(vii) Demonstrated Skills in defining, developing and Implementing Innovative BI solutions for Performance Management.
(2) Demonstrated Skills in developing cross-domain Business Value driven BI architecture requirements to drive business innovation.
(i) Demonstrated Skills in Developing, maintaining and communicating Common BI Processes, Standards, best-practices, etc. and benchmarks with industry.
(ii) Demonstrated Skills in identifying, selecting, and approving BI standards.
(iii) Practical Experience With Data Stewardship functions.
(iv) Demonstrated Skills Implementing BI data quality solutions.
(v) Practical Experience Using Data Dictionary and Master Data tools.
(vi) Practical Experience with Data Architecture, including the distinction between contextual, conceptual, logical, and physical layers and the distinction and dependencies between business, information, systems, and technology.
(vii) Practical experience in application of TOGAF or equivalent framework/method in establishing, providing stewardship, and executing data architecture work.
(viii) Demonstrated Skills in conducting BI architecture assessment; Requirements definition/mapping/gap analysis.
(ix) Demonstrated Skills in leading BI Architecture Compliance Audits, reporting, and leveraging lessons learned to drive appropriate changes, training, etc.
5. Experience
a. Minimum 5 to 7 years experience in Business Intelligence (BI) Architectures and progressively growing BI Leadership Roles.
b. Significant experience in data warehouse design and data modeling (both relational and dimensional) and development and maintenance of multi-dimensional data models.
c. Significant development experience in implementation of Data Warehousing using both COTS and Custom Application Architectures.
d. Significant hands-on ETL experience using industry standard ETL tools such as Datastage.
e. Expert level SQL skills, understanding of Data Warehouse metadata concepts, tools and different data warehouse methodologies.
f. Experience with Cognos Reporting/Analysis Tools (i.e. Cognos Series 8: Performance Foundation, ReportNet, PowerPlay, NoticeCast, ePlanning, Cognos Finance).
g. Experience with ERP systems desirable, especially SAP.
h. Understanding of multiple RDBMS technologies.
i. Experience with J2EE, SOA desirable.
j. Experience with establishing BI processes and standards.
k. Practical application of TOGAF or equivalent methodology.
