many, not just chinese, but also logisticws pros in other countries including usa, have no idea what 4pl is
i will try to find some article links, before that here is my own take on this
1pl is the logistic function team of the enterprises
2pc is asset based carrier
3pl is basically non asset based carrier but lated there is a trend of merging between 2pl and 3pl
4pl is a new profession has nothing to do with any of above
it operates entirely different, think it as an outsourcing
ike companies have big it team but all they have is the contraters filling up the function team on their premise doing their jobs
4pl works with all 2pl and 3pl and manage their works, while function somewhat similar to 1pl only more professional
not sure about your questions in what like and what did not? i do not work on any thing unless i like it. did you mean the work environment at GE? well the politics is too damn much to sick me out, that part is the part i hated.
logistics is the next biggest thing to hit jackpot. 4pl is
not in china yet except for a couple of foreign companies who barely have good clients.
