I have only watched a few of Zhang Ziyi's movies including "The Hero" and "Jasmine Fower Blossom". Her performance in "The Hero" has left a deep impression on me. In that movie, she is the brightest star even though it includes super stars like "Zhang Manyu" .

Obviously all the above is politically correct, and for the purpose of posing a positive image in front of the public, after all, Zhang is a public figure already. But for a 20 something year old, it is still pretty impressive.
Chinese st<x>yle education has always emphasized on "high score, read more books, reside more poems, do more math problems", but how much use of it when it comes to a person dealing with life, himself or herself?
More over, many Chinese parents prefer, encourage or even force their kids to play piano, play violin, play this and that. Is it felling into the same trap of an old path, focusing on becoming a technician of one technique.
In that sense, are physical activities like sports and dancing better than playing solo and finger movements which obviously also involving brain like playing piano, violin, flute, etc. etc.? Can physical activities help a person gradually learn how to deal with himself or herself: body, mind and emotion?
