According to ur answer, everything is the same as 10 yrs ago except for the price!!!
Here is the picture.
You two walk into this nite club, asking for how they charge.
You then look around and see few girls sitting here and there, good looking since you have been alone for too long.
You each pick a girl and you are then ushered to your table. The two girls show up shortly.
Ordering drinks, one each [US$20], maybe a fruit platter [US$50?]
The girls no longer smile since u did not order XO.
You ask them to dance, they do provide their bodies, but not their emotion.
You feel bad, but they ask u for cigarette after the dance, making you feel even worse.
Before they finish smoking, Mami comes saying "Can I borrow the girls for just few minutes?"
You are gentlemen, so u say "Sure!" [You actually have no choice.]
You two are then waiting there, seemingly forever.
Right before u almost blow up, one or both of the girls re-appear.
one more dance, possibly one more drink each.
They then say "Sorry, I have to use the restroom."
You wait even longer this time and you see those late-comers get into private rooms and waiters bring in XO, ice, hot towels, etc.
You know you are ignored since most customers sit in private rooms.
You then feel if u protest, it would be useless, it only makes u look ridiculous.
The girls finally show up.
Right after they say "Sorry to keep u guys waiting", they ask "Can I get my tip now since I have several rooms to collect tips from. I will be running around at this closing hour."
So, $200 each, they do not even ask for any extra. The mami does not come to bother either [or she comes in-between, making you feel a bit better and buy drink, etc. for her.]
You know the girls would never show up again, so u have no choice, but pay you bill.
The bill arrives showing $100 + $20 = $120.
You give the waiter $150 and he comes back with $30 change.
You take back a $10 bill, pay the valet parking $5 tip on your way out.
The 90 minutes costs you two US$545 = RMB 4360.
During the 90 minutes, you feel a bit happy for about 10 minutes at most.
You then realize if you want to make a different evening there, you two have to come up with US$2000 at least.
P.S. The most expensive niteclub in Chongqing, extremely luxury, would cost u RMB 1000 + 600 + 300 + 200 = RMB 2100 minimum for two. The girls will be with you all the time and you have the top girls in Chongqing to choose from [but the girls may not be very attentive since you guys do not look like their regular customers].
